First Day of Summer!!

The summer aroma of freshly mowed grass and a short summer rain brought in the first day the Summer Program for the Boys and Girls Club of the Lake Martin Area.
In total their are 130 boys and girls in our units; 88 Boys and Girls at our Searcy unit, 10 at the teen center, and 30 at the Goodwater unit!! there's always room for more in our teen and Goodwater units, so come sign up!
The Searcy Unit Kicked off their program with a Mamie's reading Corner performance given by the Alexander City Children's Library. The Teen Center decorated their own items for the year, such as cups, bags, and towels and, got know one another through ice breaker games. The Goodwater unit enjoyed a fun filled day of meeting and greeting their peers and staff and playing tons of fun games.
