Boys And Girls Club/D.A.R.E & S.A.F.E Golf Tournament

The Boys and Girls Club of the Lake Martin Area and the D.A.R.E and S.A.F.E Programs held a Golf Tournament on May 5, 2017. The tournament was sponsored by the Alexander City Police Department. It was held at the Lakewinds Golf Course in Alexander City, AL. The tournament was a four man scramble and included silent auctions, raffle prizes, and tournament winner prizes.

The tounament brought in a collection of over $4,000 that was split evenly between the Boys and Girls Club of the Lake Martin Area and the D.A.R.E & S.A.F.E programs.

The donors for this years tournament were very generous. Special Thanks to Dairy Creem, Who’s Dinner, JR’s Sportsbar and Grill, Cazadores Mexican Restaurant, Hodges Vineyards& Winery, Home Plate Café, Oskar’s Café, Niffers at the Lake, Auburn Mariot Opelika Hotel & Conference Center at Grand National, Sylacauga Country Club, StillWaters Golf & Country Club, Dick’s Sporting Goods of Opelika, Fred’s of Dadeville, Russell Do It Center, Home Depot of Alexander City, Walmart Supercenter of Alexander City, and Sugahatchee Country Club for your donations for our raffle prizes and silent auction items.

Thank you to our incredible teams for weathering through the chill and rain. This year’s teams included Kowaliga country, Steve Presley Accounting, Wall Tire Company, UsAmeri Bank, and Morris, Hayes & Hornsby.

Our generous sponsors for the tournament include, Alabama Power, American Motor Sports, PaPa Johns, Chapman Health Care, and Foshee’s Whats LLC.

With the help and support of our community, the Boys and Girls Club of the Lake Martin Area and D.A.R.E and S.A.F.E programs were able to raise over $4000.

With the continued support of the Lake Martin Area these programs will continue to reach the children of our community and help them achieve at everything they do in life. We look forward to continuing our Annual Golf Tournament next year and hope we see you there!
